Day Camp @ Lutherhill

Age: Completed Kinder- 5th grade

St. Paul will take the van each day during the day camp week. Students will meat that the church by 7:20am and return to the church by 5:45pm

VBS is one of St. Paul's biggest community events and we are always in need of loving volunteers. Helping at VBS is a wonderful way to connect with youth in our chruch and community and shaire how God has working in your life. Sharing your love for Christ can impact the youth in many ways. Curriculum Topics

Pre-K - Kindergarten

The students sing songs, learn simple prayers, do craft projects, learn the Lord’s Prayer and Bible stories.

Grades 1st – 3rd

The lessons are Bible based and include games and craft projects. The content level and retentive expectations are higher at this level. Students will also be taught the Apostle’s Creed and be exposed to the Sacraments of Baptism.

Grades 4th – 6th

The lessons are Bible based and help to foster the child’s relationship with God. Lessons will be child centered and student participation is encouraged. Students will be taught the Ten Commandments as part of their curriculum.

Confirmation (7th & 8th)

Students study scripture, Baptism, Communion and the teachings of Martin Luther. Confirmation will teach you how your faith can be active in your daily life. The goal of confirmation is that students develop a deeper more personal and honest idea about what they believe and who God is.

Senior High (9th - 12th)

In this class the students are to relate the Bible to their life. Impotant issues facing the students will be addressed. Students are encouraged to develop a relationship with God that will serve them no matter what they face in the world.
