Work Concession Stand at Colorado County Fair

It's Fair time, and St. Paul Lutheran Youth and St. Paul Christian Leaming Academy (CLA) will host the concession stand again this year. It has been such a great fundraiser for both of our organizations, and everyone has a good time! The Colorado County Fair is September 12, 13, & 14, 2024, and we will need volunteers for all three days from 7:00 AM-10:00 PM. We will serve hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, baked potatoes, sausage wraps, breakfast tacos nachos, chips, soda, coffee, tea and lemonade. We will need volunteers to help work the concession stand (they are 3-hour shifts), cook hamburgers and breakfast tacos, and we are also asking for ice donations. If you have an ice maker and are willing to let us fill up a cooler, that is helpful. Volunteer sign-up sheets will be in the narthex to sign up before or after worship, or you can email Stephanie (stephaniepolasek@yahoo.com) and let her know the time slot(s) you are able to help. Get a group together and come work the stand for a few hours, then go enjoy the fair! Each volunteer will receive a pass to enter for the day your are serving. This also counts for those iunior high and high school students looking for service hours. All proceeds will go to support the St. Paul Lutheran youth programs and the St. Paul CLA.
