In accordance with the St. Paul Lutheran Church bylaws, we are required to notify members of any proposed bylaw changes at least 30 days prior to the scheduled congregational meeting. This announcement serves as that official notice. Further details regarding the proposed changes and meeting agenda will be provided in due course. Proposed Amendment/Bylaw Changes

Chapter 11

C11.01 – e.  The president, vice president, and secretary will serve as Executive Officers.

Chapter 12 

C12.01 – The voting membership of the CC shall consist of the pastor(s), the executive officers of the congregation, and six members of the congregation.  The Council will strive to have at least one youth or young adult to represent their interests by voice.

Chapter 13

C13.01 – The executive officers of this congregation and the pastor shall constitute the Executive Team.

C13.02 – Members of the Nominating Team will serve a 2-year term and are not eligible for re-election.

C13.05 – When a pastoral vacancy occurs, a Call Team of at least 6 voting members shall be elected by this congregation.

4. Financial Agreements

In accordance with C12.05 of the constitution of SPLC, the congregation council shall be responsible for the financial and property matters of this congregation.  Further, as defined in C13.01 of the constitution of SPLC, the congregation council shall authorize the Executive Team to provide authorized signatures when ……………………………….
